Sleep, Parks, and Conference

Morning shinanagins...

I slept in and Ryan watched the kids play.

Off to the park again

Peter's faucet

Many families in Rome spend Sunday's at the park

Workout room outside?

Counting sheep...

Crazy girl!

Villa Borghese Gardens

Peter, Gwen and I are sick with an annoying cold. The worst is that it is preventing Peter from sleeping -- which means Ryan and I haven't slept for almost 3 nights now. That and traveling all day we decided to do something very low key with our two, tired, whining kids. =)

Sad Goodbyes

Watching Cartoons in Shqip

Yummy hotel breakfast

At the airport

All our gear...

Grandma and Grandpa entertained Gwen and Peter for nearly 30 minutes while we "negotiated" our checked baggage. Our child items overwhelmed the ticketing agent (2-piece carseats and 3-piece strollers). Crazy Americans!

So hard to say goodbye. Our trip was too short --  but we're grateful for the time we had with them. How wonderful it was to meet the many people they have touched! One YSA in particular told me "You are so lucky" -- we know. We're grateful for their example of faith and service.
